Tower Cafe- 1518 Broadway. It's actually a Mexican-Thai restaurant and bakery which opens regularly at 8 in the morning. A nice breakfast would be Mexicana Omelet which has black beans, sour cream, jack cheese and pico de gallo or New Mexico Blueberry Cornmeal Pancakes. The pancakes are big and sprinkled with blueberries. |

4th Street Grill, 400 L St.If you are craving for pasta, grilled dish or salad, then go to 4th Street Grill. The restaurant, which serves Californian cuisine, opens at 11 AM and features a bar, private rooms and non-smoking areas. You must try their Aged New York Steak Au Poivre. Totally delicious! You should also try the Chopped Cobb Salad. It's made from chicken breast, bacon, cucumber, avocado, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, blue cheese dressing and romaine. |

The Firehouse Restaurant- Old Sacramento. This place is actually one of the finest restaurants in Sacramento. If you want an elegant dining experience, then Firehouse is the place to be. It's a high class restaurant, which means they have this "No Necktie, No Service" policy. Expect a pricey three-course meal but if you don't mind spending a lot, then there is no problem. Try the Butter Pecan Prawns, Smoked Duck Salad and Wood-Roasted Salmon. |
